With all of the hustle and bustle of our busy daily lives, we find it challenging to steal away the extra time we need to pursue our dreams and accomplish our goals.

If you could find ways to create more time to pursue your passions, how much value would this add to your life?

What could you accomplish with an extra 34 hours per week?

Imagine having an extra 73 days per year to write that book or develop that $1,000,000 business plan.

This is very possible and I will show you a few simple and easy tricks that you can use starting today to accomplish this

1. Watch 1 hour less TV per day

According to Wikipedia:

“In 2017 alone, an average U.S. consumer spent 238 minutes (3h 58min) daily watching TV. According to a Nielsen report, United States adults are watching five hours and four minutes of television per day on average (35.5 h/week, slightly more than 77 days per year).”

According to Wikipedia, we spend almost as much time watching TV per week as we do on our jobs!

By watching only 1 hour less TV per day, this will open up an additional 7 hours per week that you can use towards accomplishing your goals.

Over the course of 1 year, this simple task will add an additional 15 days of time that you can use.

If you are really ambitious, you can sacrifice 2 hours of TV per day and add an additional 30 days per year towards pursuing your passions.

2. Wake up 30 minutes earlier and go to be 30 minutes later

A wise man once said:

“Early to bed and early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise”.

Just by doing the simple act of waking up 30 minutes earlier and going to bed 30 minutes later, you can add an additional 30 hours per month and 15 days per year.

You can use this extra time to make yourself ‘healthy, wealthy and wise’.

3. Use Your Drive Time Effectively

According to a study done by the Harvard Health Watch:

“An average American spends 101 minutes per day driving. That means that in a lifetime, an average Joe spends a whopping 37,935 hours driving a car (assuming that s/he starts driving at 17 and drives until 78.7 years old).”

If you spend only 30 minutes per day while driving to work on your project, you will add an additional 8.75 hours per week which totals a whopping 19 days per year!

This is easy and simple to do. All you have to do is either use your voice recorder app to dictate chapters to your book or ideas for your business.

You can even video yourself doing this while driving (instead of going live on Instagram or Facebook).

Or you can listen to an audiobook or program that will help increase your knowledge and skills instead of rocking out to the latest jam.

4. Spend Less Time On Social Media

According to Statista:

“In 2017 (the most recent year for which full data is available), people spent 135 minutes per day, or nearly two and a half hours, on social media. That’s up from 2016, when people averaged 126 minutes per day.”

If you sacrifice only 30 minutes per day from browsing and posting on your social media accounts, you will add an additional 8.75 hours per week and a total of 19 days per year.

What can you accomplish in a full 19 days of uninterrupted time?

Could you write a few chapters to your book? Could you create a new business plan? Could you start learning a new money-making skill?

I think you can survive sacrificing just a short 30 minutes per day from catching up on the latest gossip.

5. Use Your Lunch Break

Most working Americans have on average a 1 hour lunch break per day.

Just by sacrificing only 30 minutes of your lunch break to work on your project, you will create an additional 5 days per year that can be used to achieve success.

Just make sure you are using your lunch break to do this and stealing away time from your employer.

In Conclusion

We have just discovered five simple and easy things we can do to add up to an additional 73 days per year that you can now use to acheive your goals in life.

Just imagine what you can accomplish with all of this additional time that you have now created for yourself.

With an additional 2 1/2 months per year of free and dedicated time, you can now pursue your hearts desires, accomplish your goals and pursue your passions.

Use this time wisely to create the life that you deserve.
