9 Steps On How To Live A Miserable Life

The in-depth step by step guide to live a shitty lifestyle

With all the information out there, we all know how to adapt habits of millionaires or any other good habit and lead a fulfilling as well as a happy life. But I noticed that most people don’t want to lead a happy life. They want a miserable life that they hate. Full of negativity, stress, hate, anxiety, and a lot more.

Unfortunately, nobody teaches that.

To help those people achieve their dream, I decided to create this step by step guide on how to live a miserable life. The following strategies are based on my experience and going through all of these strategies on my own for over 10 years.

Let’s not waste any further time and jump straight into it!

1. Work A 9–5 That You Hate

So many people underestimate the potential of this strategy. Just imagine: If you got a degree in something that you hate, you have the perfect conditions to work for the next 40–45 years in a 9–5 job that you hate.

If you’re lucky enough, you’ll be surrounded by people that you hate and you even have a high chance to get a boss that you hate. It will also blow your mind if you’ll have to work on weekends. A sleep-deprived life, full of stress.

Isn’t this incredible?!

On top of that, you’ll get paid not what you’re worth but you’re taken advantage of. If you find a company that isn’t vision-driven and doesn’t want to help their employees, then you can proudly say that you have the jackpot.

If this is not enough for you, then read on.

2. Get A Netflix And A PSN Account

You ask yourself now why getting a Netflix and/or a PSN account is important within this strategy?

I’ll tell you.

Instead of learning from people like Pat Flynn how to build your dream business for free, you can pay around $15 per month and watch series every evening. Of course, after you’ve implemented the first strategy — having a 9–5 you hate.

This helps you to dive deeper into your problems because you start to ignore them. Sci-Fi genres proved to work pretty well as it’s diving into even a whole different universe and this distracts you very well from the real world.

Even if it’s a good strategy, sometimes watching series and movies can get boring. This is why you should have a PSN account as a backup, to diversify the experience of diving deeper into your problems. Otherwise, you risk to open your eyes and see what is happening around you in the now.

This technique works especially well combined with the next one, so make sure to stack them. Only then you will get the most out of it!

3. Eat Fast Food And Drink A Lot Of Alcohol

Just think about alcohol. It’s not for nothing a world-recognized drug. It makes you relaxed, very relaxed, and it makes you honest so that you say things out loud that are on your mind. Alcohol also lets you see the world from a different perspective which helps you ignore your problems even more.

Exactly what you need after the 9–5 you hate.

And fast food is just incredible. I mean it’s FAST food, right? It saves you a lot of time, so why not making use of it to its fullest potential?

Not only is it fast but you can also be longer in front of the TV all the time because of that. You don’t have to cook healthy food on your own, and you can order it from somebody else.

Besides that, if you eat a lot of it, you’ll get overweight, and you’ll be even lazier to stand up from the couch or move and look at the world around you.

This situation quickly converts into a chain reaction, which ensures that you’ll never open your eyes at the possibilities out there, and with this, your miserable life is secured.

4. Give A Fuck About Financial Education

Believe the politicians. There is a reason why we don’t get proper financial education in schools.

All governments in the world always make the right decisions to help people live a happier life. If they’ve decided to not teach people the difference between expenses and assets, then you definitely shouldn’t give a fuck about learning these things.

Why should you?

I mean, you already have a 9–5 that you hate where you get paid not what you’re worth but you’re taken advantage of. If you would care about financial education, you would find out that you can easily build income streams with different assets which often even gets into passive income.

This would get your miserable life under high risk, so avoid getting into financial education! By the way, not giving a fuck about financial education also goes hand in hand with the next point.

5. Never Strive For More

When we are younger, most parents already told us that we shouldn’t dream the whole day but live in reality, get a job, pay the bills, and be unhappy.

And they were right.

Why shouldn’t they be right? Just think about it, many of them live the perfect example of a miserable life and have a ton of experience in this area, so you should take their advice.

Never set goals, never dream, and never have visions. Never strive for more. I know what I’m talking about, I do such things all the time. This will only distract you from living the miserable life you want.

Moving on to the next point which can get dangerous in our times right now.

6. Don’t Meditate Because It’s Bullshit

It can get dangerous because meditation gets more popular exponentially. Meditation is one of the worst investments you can do if you want to live a miserable life!

It reduces stress because often it’s about calming down and just taking a break from life. With this, meditation can even support having dreams and visions which would be bad for the dream of a miserable life.

The one right thing you can do about meditation is trusting your assumptions! Most people assume that meditation is only about sitting down, trying to get rid of thoughts. Because, of course, nobody can manage that, everybody stops meditating with the first session.

Your assumptions are the one thing that will save you from meditation and from moving away from your miserable life. So make sure to listen to your assumptions. And if we’re already talking about listening to yourself…

Meditation also gives you a break from the next thing which you should try to avoid at any cost if you want to maintain your miserable lifestyle.

7. Trust The Negative Voice In Your Head

Yes, you’re not the only one to hear them. We all have this negative voice in our heads which tells us that we can’t achieve anything, that we’re not good enough, and that nobody will respect our opinion anyway.

Trust this voice.

It’s the voice that is sitting in YOUR head, right? With this, it would be wrong to assume that it is the result of all accumulated opinions of society and the people around you.

If you should have problems with trusting this voice, make sure to always surround yourself with the category of people I talk about in the next point. This will guarantee that you’ll trust the negative voice in your head.

8. Look For Toxic Relationships

You are perhaps in a lot of toxic relationships already, so you don’t have to worry. But if you want to stack the results of what you’ve achieved until now, look for even more toxic relationships. This will make sure to keep you in this cycle of negativity and helps you keep your miserable life.

Just so that you understand — A toxic person is basically everyone who brings you down more than up, anyone who is abusive, unsupportive, etc. These people make sure that you don’t know your value and that you don’t make the next thing I’ll tell you about.

You shouldn’t do the next thing because it can cost you EVERYTHING you’ve built up with the strategies I mentioned earlier.

9. Never Shift Your Mindset

Shifting your mindset is the worst thing you can do if you want to keep your miserable life because with this, you begin to think in the opposite direction and start questioning everything. This will be a chain reaction. If you start once, it won’t stop.

Training negative or positive thoughts is like training your muscles. With the strategies mentioned earlier, you’ve trained now to have a lot of negativity in your mind. If you would start now shifting your mindset, it would destroy your whole progress immediately.

So make sure to never be positive about something! Never believe that you can achieve something because nothing is possible anyway. Always listen to other people who say that you won’t make it and it’s impossible, and never accept other possibilities of outcomes.

If you do, this can destroy everything you’ve built up with all the strategies I’ve taught you in a second. Use all of these strategies and you’re set for the perfect miserable lifestyle that you always dreamt of.

The truth is…

Look, guys. All jokes aside, you are destroying your life and you know that. Every day you wake up, you get a new chance, and you throw it away, over and over again.

I’m not saying that you shouldn’t watch series, play games, drink alcohol or eat fast food. Vlada and I also do some of that sometimes. You even HAVE to because you need a break from time to time to not burn out and this is also very good for your creativity.

You just have to keep in mind that everything has to be in balance. If you think now that you have no control over all of these things I mentioned earlier, then stop creating excuses! I was also where you are now and I can tell you that we all have control over our lives!

It’s in our hands to wake up and create something awesome.

It’s in our hands to create daily routines for a better life.

It’s in our hands to stop doing what we’re doing now and do something else instead.

Seriously, we all should take a step back and realize what great potential is hidden in all of us. Don’t be shy, you’re a great person and if you think differently, then these thoughts aren’t yours anyway because they were implemented in your head by other people.

So, I want to challenge you to do something. Something probably pretty difficult but important. Think about one little thing that you want to change in your life. Write down what you want to be/do/see/hear/feel instead and put the note in a place where you can see it daily.

Don’t start with big things like being a trillionaire. Start with something like “I will invest today 5 minutes into something I love doing”, or “I will create one healthy meal per week” or so and always stick to it. If it works, start to scale it.

From 5 minutes to 10 minutes.

From once a week to every day.

From little things to bigger things.

The only way to get where you see yourself next year is to start working towards it. Even if that are only 1-inch steps, they’re still steps and you’re moving. 1-inch daily are 365 inches after 1 year. Imagine where you can be in 1, 3, or 5 years if you only start now with one little step.
