Hello, I'm looking for a solution to this problem. I'm a user who depends on Microsoft Word to write academic and professional papers as well as courses and exams. Sometimes students do not respect the copyright, they either modify something or simply steal the whole paper. So I know that it is easier for them to get an.exe by software piracy (a.k.a. screen capture). My problem is that I need to keep a track of which papers are “stolen” and need to have another source to save that info (so I can email this info to my lawyer). The good thing about all this that I'm using Acrobat (Acro and Acrobat) as well as the MS Word. (I'm taking a course on Knowledge management - Acro In Courses ) Now I have this annoying problem with Word’s.exe: While editing a document in Acro, there is a glitch which makes a “copy of your document” (This is not a “copy of the document”). While editing I can not see the.exe file, I can only see a blank space. But if I open the Word after editing the document, I see the.exe file, that means that the copy was created at that moment when I leave Acro and open the Word. This is a very annoying problem for me because I can not backtrack that blank space and the.exe file that was created, because if I leave Acro without saving it, it disappears, and if I save it, the Word will not open.
A pleasure, I have the same trouble trying to print to PDF in Acrobat... After editing the document, I can't see the.exe that was created. If I right click the.exe, it says "Print to PDF". Well, it does not print, it shows a print dialog (pop up) and I can only choose Adobe Acrobat.. I don't even have the option to choose the printer. I tried to change the default PDF printer through the program, but it didn't work either. Any idea on how to solve this... Or I need to install another printer in my Mac...
