Bob Wayne is Giyu's teacher, still alive. It's also revealed that Giyu has been channeling the Hashira's power all along. Giyu asks Bob if kids from before were able to access the Hashira's power, but Bob replies that the Hashira can only be used when the person has reached a certain spiritual level. Giyu asks him if he can use the Hashira's power for himself if he does it now, but Bob replies that the power also drains him. Giyu starts to question if he can ever reach that level of power if he wants to defeat Akaza. Meanwhile as Akaza is pondering how to get to Giyu, he notices an additional human down in the valley. He has a sword which could be a re-incarnated Hashira. He intends to kill the person, but Akaza is in a hurry to find Giyu before the villain dies. Giyu is brought to the hatch, but Akaza warns him that he can't reveal his true power after what happened before. When Giyu finally starts to ask him exactly why, Akaza realizes that he could drive Giyu away from him by threatening his family. Giyu takes that cue and broadcasts that his power is for everyone, starting from his master. Akaza attacks Giyu, but shows no sign of fear or weakness. He then attempts to kill Giyu with the Water Slashing Sword, but Giyu uses his newest technique, Transparent Seiza, Red Dragon: Blood Fury. All the battle field in the Transparent World light up. The sword does not leave Akaza's body and he is sent flying back. While Giyu and Bob look at the debris with amazement, Akaza is alive, but covered in burns and starts to get back up.
The young owner of a pillar-box is delighted to run into an old acquaintance, but the latter mistakes the young shopgirl for his lost love, Rosalind of the "I've found you" variety. Set in 1905, this is a perfect example of cheery public-domain material produced in the heyday of movies - when you could tell a pantomime and expect laughs. You have to wonder why so many later cutesy films used this joke without crediting the originators. a0fb89163a
