- Do not stress too much on programming syntax. You will forget most of it anyways.
- Learn how to code. Not how to code in a language.
- Be a good debugger.
- Your code is always buggy, don't forget to test your code.
- Learn from your mistakes.
- There are no shortcuts. Practice x 1000.
- Learn the shortcuts of your IDE. Learning curve might be high, but once it becomes muscle memory, your productivity will be better.
- Read code. Understand what it does.
- Don't follow the crowd blindly.
- Change is always constant. Don't get too attached to your tools or languages.
