You’ve got the creativity; you’ve got the talent and you’re ready to hit record on your next big idea. Before you even think about starting a YouTube channel, get set up with these savings Goals.

For many of people all over the country, YouTube is more than just a hobby, it’s a community, a creative outlet, and even more importantly, a career. Maybe you want to start a gaming channel. Maybe you want to start vlogs of your day-to-day life. Whatever your flavor, competition on YouTube is stiff these days, so you might need to get a head start on the competition before you press play.

Plenty of people want to start their own YouTube channel, but they are uncertain about what equipment they need to get started. Some Influencers build a YouTube studio, packed with expensive cameras and editing software for their videos, whereas other channels just use smartphones to record and upload content.

But how do you know what you need? The equipment is the most important part of your YouTube channel; get it right, and your videos will stand out, attract viewers.

When you’re ready to build your YouTube studio here are six essential things that you will need to save for.

Camera:

The most important piece of equipment that you need is a camera. There are lots of different camera options, but a DSLR is the best choice for people who want to start a YouTube channel. DSLR cameras are popular with YouTubers—they are good for filming in low light, the videos are high quality, and the image is very clear. DSLR camera’s range between 20,000 to 2,00,000+ but you won’t need a high-end one; a mid-range camera should do the job perfectly.

However, a DSLR isn’t the only option. The quality of smartphone cameras has improved vastly in the last few years, and now some successful YouTubers and filmmakers even record videos and movies on their smartphones. While a vlog shot purely on smartphones is doable, shooting on something that’s purpose-built for recording will produce a much higher quality video.

Camera lens:

While DSLR cameras come with a standard lens, it’s likely you’ll need a better-quality lens, especially if you’re starting a YouTube channel. Chances are your first few videos will be shot inside, in low light, so you’re going to need a fast lens with a large aperture; look for a low f-number, or speak to a specialist at your local camera store. Fast lenses are great for vloggers who don’t have a full professional light setup, and might have to deal with regular-old home lighting.

Lighting equipment:

If you’re going to be filming all of your videos outside, you won’t need to spend time building a YouTube studio, and buying indoor lighting equipment. However, if you plan on filming the majority of your videos inside, you will need to buy some lighting equipment. If you’ve already invested in a good camera and lens, you won’t need to spend too much. Think about starting with a lighting kit, or a ring light lamp which are available in online websites from 4000/-. However, if you do not have budget on buying this whole lighting equipment at least buy a rich lighted tube light and place towards you.

Microphone:

If you record all of your videos inside in a quiet environment, you might not need to buy a microphone. However, a microphone is essential for anyone who is filming outside; if you just use your camera to record sound, you might find that the footage is very quiet and muffled. This will mean that you lose on video views; no-one likes watching a video with poor audio. While microphones aren’t expensive, they will make a huge difference to the quality of your videos. Microphone prices vary from 1000 to 1,00,000 as I am shooting all videos in indoor condition, I bought myself a basic Lavalier Microphone.

Video editing software:

While you don’t necessarily need video editing software to start a YouTube channel, it will make your life significantly easier, and will pay off in the long run. Most popular YouTubers use editing software to add music and effects to their videos, as it makes the videos more enjoyable, which means that they get even more views. If you have a laptop or smartphone there are so many applications available to edit your videos. I personally use Filmora for Editing my Videos.

Tripod:

Finally, lots of people overlook tripods when starting a YouTube channel, but this can be a mistake, particularly if you’re all on your lonesome when shooting! Some tripods are very cheap, and they will make sure that you never upload a shaky, blurry video. You can get these tripods for a very low price as 1000 /- from amazon you can have various options in different price categories which will increase in quality and features.

And finally, the main part is THE CONTENT you must choose that would be very unique and very much interesting to showcase your skills and passion throughout the video and Don’t make videos to earn money, make videos to share your knowledge to people that will make you earn money.
