The discovery of stainless steel was quite interesting. It was discovered during an experiment pertaining to some weapon. It was in the 1913 when Harry Brearley- a metallurgist- was conducting some experiments on metals with the intention of creating a stronger metal for weapons, when he discovered stainless steel.
