Who has been the biggest influence in your life? What lessons did that person or those people teach you?

Like me, my mom is a writer and she always taught me to work hard at what I want! If you set your mind to something and stay dedicated, anything is possible.

Tell us about your childhood, what was the best part? Is there any specific incident that has largely influenced the kind of person you are today?

One of the highlights of my childhood was when my first book series The Cupcake Club was released at age 8! It sold over 400,000 copies worldwide—I couldn’t believe it! That being said, growing up, I was bullied a lot at school.

People called me the “cupcake girl” in middle school and would make fun of me for being “babyish.” It took a while, but eventually, I learned how to embrace my individuality. My book series is an important part of my life, and there’s no reason to be ashamed!

Where is your hometown, and what was it like when you were young?

New York City! I am a city girl through and through. I always like to say the city is my canvas. You can paint it with your unapologetic individuality. There are so many different personalities you come across in NYC, and that’s what I love about it.

How important a role does content play in your life? Are you a full-time content creator? Why did you start creating content?

Content plays a huge role in my life! Every day, I film content, whether for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, or Pinterest. I’m a full-time student, and sometimes it’s difficult to squeeze in filming every day, but I make it work!

I started creating content in 2017 when I launched my fashion blog. I extended that website onto Instagram, and from there, my page just exploded!

What’s that one aspect of being a content creator no one talks about?

Collabs are a huge part of being a content creator! You have to network with as many people as you can. It’s important because you can help each other grow!

What’s the most satisfying part of being a content creator?

Seeing my supporters’ positive comments. I love making people smile—that’s how I know I’ve done my job.

How much supportive has your family been in your journey?

Extremely supportive! I’m so grateful that they always have my back.

What are you up to currently and what are your long-term career goals?

I’m about to film a very exciting project in California! I can’t say much yet, but it’s unlike anything I’ve ever done before. I’m working with some creative people, so it should be a blast!

What drives you to create content regularly?

I absolutely love creating content. It has become such a passion of mine, my day feels thrown off without it! Besides the genuine joy it brings me, I also love seeing how much of a positive impact my videos have on my supporters.

What’s the most challenging part of being a content creator?

Squeezing in time for self-care! I don’t take as many warm baths or spa days as I should.

How do you make sure that you aren’t affected by nasty comments and negative things said about you?

I just block and delete the negative comments. I surround myself with positive people who lift me up instead of tearing me down so the bullies can’t get to me.

What's success for you and when you would consider yourself to be successful?

Success is bringing joy to others while also being content with yourself. It’s not measured by the number of followers. As long as I’m making myself and others happy, I’d consider that a success.
