Technology fans in particular shouldn't miss the annual exhibition held by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) in Las Vegas, United States. Even though you can't witness it directly, a number of technology companies will make the latest announcements. The annual Consumer Electronic Show exhibition will again be held offline this year. CES 2023 will take place from January 5-8, 2023 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. 

In the past few days, product leaks or innovations announced by various technology companies have started circulating, not only in the smartphone product category but also laptops, and hardware including electric vehicles, aka electric vehicles. Automotive companies such as BMW are rumored to be present to fill the keynote session. Qualcomm, AMD and Nvidia will also announce solutions to support AI capabilities, especially in the automotive sector. Hyundai will also showcase innovations in the automotive and robotics fields. 

A number of other names such as Samsung, LG, Sony and TCL are also said to be displaying technological innovations in the television product category. Everyone is known to continue to develop smart televisions with futuristic designs and internet-connected capabilities as IoT. CES itself is rarely used as a stage to announce smartphone category products, considering that it would be more appropriate to do this at the annual Mobile World Congress (MWC) exhibition in Barcelona, Spain.

On the official CES website, CTA stated that at CES 2023 there would be more than 3,100 exhibitors from 173 countries or regions. They also mentioned that currently there are more than 4,700 media registered to cover this event. CES 2023 is predicted to be busy again for the offline event format, different from 2022 which is still being held as a hybrid. In 2021, this event had to be canceled and moved online.

CES 2023 is predicted to still highlight EV technology

The annual Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2023 trade, technology and electronics exhibition is predicted to be the main platform for many automotive companies to introduce their latest electric vehicle (EV) technology in Las Vegas, 4 January.

Launching a report from Automotive News, Thursday, the exhibition will bring the latest innovations in transportation. Not only for electric vehicles, but also other modes such as scooters to space technology.

After the COVID-19 pandemic hindered efforts to put on a big in-person show, event organizers expect more than 100,000 attendees to join in when CES kicks off in early January.

In Las Vegas, visitors will find an emphasis on electric vehicles in particular and electrification as a whole. BMW and Stellantis will be unveiling the EV concepts that will support their production plans in the not too distant future.

BMW will showcase its next-generation Neue Klasse platform, which is expected to build vehicles from 2025, while Stellantis will highlight the Peugeot Inception and Ram 1500 Revolution concepts slated for launch in 2024.

Both BMW CEO Oliver Zipse and Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares will be delivering keynote speeches at the event.

In addition, Sony Honda Mobility (SHM), a joint venture between Sony and Honda, has officially confirmed that it will reveal details regarding their latest electric vehicle (EV) at CES 2023.
