Note: Not all date/time information is covered by the AllDatesshortcut. Specifically, the filesystem date/time tags are not included, and thiscommand will reset FileModifyDate to the current date/time as it should when thefile is modified, unless either the -P option is used, orFileModifyDate is set to something else. To shift FileModifyDate along with theother tags, add -FileModifyDate-=1 to the command above.
Some kind of delay is expected before the plugin updates the currently cached stream information, so the current version of the host application is used during the delay. The delay is estimated to be at most 2 min, without regeneration. The Ogg Vorbis codec is highly susceptible to metadata corruption. It is therefore recommended to use a WMA or MP3 stream instead of Ogg Vorbis if possible.
New: - A new state is added to the plugin, containing a reference to the currently cached stream in the audio/ogg format (and possibly cached data for the stream in SCM, MII, etc). - This state is not yet implemented in Ogg Vorbis and WMA files.
Observed: - The plugin has been initialized, and the last state (if any) has been processed, to refresh the cache. - The cache is refreshed and the cached stream information is updated to reflect the current state. - The cached stream is saved in the cache, and the plugin is left in the observed state to indicate that the expected update has been done. The caching mechanism is disabled if the plugin cannot be initialized anymore. For example, if OpenAL callback is not available.
As there have been changes to the library interfaces, the libFLAC version number is incremented to 12, the libFLAC++ version number is incremented to 10. As some changes were breaking, the version age numbers (see libtool versioning) have been reset to 0. For more details on the changes to the API, see the porting guide.
Live streaming involves encoding the audio produced on your PC to a stream format, which is then uploaded continuously to a stream distribution server which listeners connect to. The audio is usually produced by radio automation software, such as StationPlaylist. Live audio from microphones can be included just like an AM/FM radio station. a0fb89163a
