The Pandemic Is Unfortunate, but is there any silver lining?

Being a student in the 21st century I never imagined facing a pandemic like COVID-19. I've always learned about such calamitous breakdowns in my science and history books but never had an idea that we'd be facing such a kind of unfortunate pandemic in our lives too.
We human beings are so selfish that we take everything for granted. We are always thriving to be the best and to invent something that might question our existence. Due to the ongoing COVID-19, countries across the globe are affected badly, and the whole world is going through lockdown, restricted operations of flights, the poor are getting poorer, the loss of employment and many more challenges are being faced by everyone.
SILVER LINING IN A DEADLY BLACK CLOUD OF COVID-19

This is the picture of the Dhauladhars in Himachal Pradesh that is going viral on all social media platforms. The reason behind this is that these mountain ranges are now visible from Jalandhar for the first time in decades. This miracle happened due to the lockdown, and it resulted in a measurable improvement in air quality with factories and companies locked down and almost all automobile and electronic factories shut. The Ganga River, known for its sanctity and purity, is considered to be the sixth most populated river in the world. Even after spending an estimated Rs. 2,955 crores, our government's plan to revive the river could not be executed well. But, thanks to COVID-19, due to which the condition of our holy river has significantly improved.
Due to traffic and air pollution, I've never seen clear skies or a clearer skyline in Delhi, where I've lived for the past 20 years. I had not known what silence was before lockdown.
Pink flamingos returned in large numbers to Mumbai beach this year, thanks to a reduction in human activity, less air pollution, and a clearer sky.
These are the reasons which will prove coronavirus as a silver lining if our nature heals in all aspects.
Due to lockdown, families are building their relationships back up like the old traditional way. For the first time in a long time, many grandparents, parents, and kids are all under the same roof. They are turning in a more family-centric way rather than being self-centric. According to research, it was found that due to hectic and busy schedules, families were not spending time with each other. On average, mothers spent 116 minutes with their children, while fathers spent only 50 minutes per day. The research pointed to 34% of parents feeling guilty for not managing their work-life schedule and for not dedicating enough time to their children. Due to the lockdown, parents are getting involved in various activities with their children, which will build a healthy relationship bond. They are getting a chance to get to know themselves and their kids more deeply. Even kids are getting time to spend with their grandparents as well. Because of modernization, the younger generation is lacking etiquette and respect toward elderly people. But by staying home with grandparents and listening to their stories, there is hope for our younger generation. They will become sensitive and polite.
This lockdown is bringing a change in gender roles; men are experimenting in the kitchen to make food for their families and take care of their toddler children.
Lockdown can be used to cement and root modern families.
Innovation or invention can be a major silver lining due to the pandemic.
Across the globe, there has been the utmost need for innovations to solve the problems of people, directly or indirectly, emerging from the pandemic. When resources are limited, inventing new things becomes the priority of humans, which ultimately leads to an idea. Innovation makes us self-dependent and more creative. COVID is aiming to be a wake-up call for such innovations. Almost every country is trying to find a way to make a vaccine that can be used to fight this virus. Scientists, doctors, engineers, developers, and policemen have evolved together to help the world and themselves fight COVID.
The pandemic has proved it doesn't care about a specific geographical location but can become a threat to the whole community.
It was a dream for countries like India to become "Digital India."
but was never fulfilled, but now due to no-touch and work from policy, India is emerging as a leading country in the world of digitalization. Now, almost everyone is becoming digitally and socially active and is learning new technologies.
All over the world, research on drugs and vaccines is going on with new methods and theories; almost everything is being rewritten. Many countries have developed gadgets such as wristwatches that alert with a beeping sound when in contact with a virus; these kinds of innovations demonstrate and set an example for future generations of why the human mind is so powerful.
The invention of automated mask machines was made in Bengaluru due to a shortage of N-95 masks. These machines are manufacturing masks rapidly and are cheap in comparison to Chinese masks.
The e-commerce industry has started using drones for deliveries because COVID-19 has brought millions of workers under lockdown. The companies are also applying for a licence to fly their drones. E-commerce industries are in high demand, especially grocery stores. In the future, this technique will be used by every e-commerce platform.
Mobile stores are making their way onto mobile apps for essential items.
However, mobile phones and laptops were invented in the late '90s. Thanks to them for making telemedicine popular during the pandemic. People are facing restrictions due to the fact that they are communicating with doctors over the phone or via Skype instead of personally visiting them.
Schools and institutions are conducting classes online for students.
The usage of technology for online classes is not only beneficial for students; teachers are also learning new methods of teaching which have never been used before. Online learning has become very common nowadays.
The list of the above innovations shows how humans can discover technology in a very short period of time. Before COVID, we never faced such urgency and a need for technology.
As they say, there is always something good behind everything. COVID is unfortunate and it's next to impossible to comment on the invention of pills, but hope never dies. Life is like this; one has to face challenges, but the above paragraphs indicate there is always a silver lining behind every situation.
