When I look at the world around me, I hardly see myself

I haven’t taken the time to sift sort plunder divide weed conquer capture decide.

Someday I might breathe bend write remember,

That who I am will never be found.

For my foundation is firm.. or at least it should be,

At least it should be found.

For built I am by brick alone

Forgotten overlooked overseen misaligned — remember:

Who you are is who “I AM”.

You have a lot to learn, relearn, forget and forgot.

Brick by brick you will build and be undone,

So where do you look to Me or to them, try to remember to look and be found, to be Found.

To Be Found.

To Be Found.

This writing is about remembering to check in with me in the swirling times of life. I struggle with comparison and I forget who I am. I forget my foundation. I forget my faith. I am invited to remember. To remember who I am by the one who said “I AM”

If you enjoyed this, here are two articles of mine you might enjoy.
