hello, i've had a tl-wr841n for a while and it seemed to be working fine. i noticed that when the router was on a power supply, the led would stay on solid. i searched and read about the snr issue and tried different boot parameters like rn8, ir8, ir, but those didn't work. finally, i tried to downgrade to 1.24 firmware. i spent 2 days downloading and flashing and it wouldn't boot, and every time i reboot, i got the error "tl-wr841n 192.168.1.1" when i tried to connect the phone, it couldn't even show the essid of my phone! please help!
i figured i could bump up the power requirements of the speed bot and also bump up the power requirements of the led, since the led is always on. should be able to get both to boot pretty easily. it has worked pretty well up until now. i have it configured to always reboot every 6 hours. works great. i put a screen on the front so i can see when it reboots. it will be nice to be able to let the user know when it reboots.
i did some reading on the snr issue and figured that might be the case. i decided to just raise the power requirement on both the led and the speed boost. my hope is that the speed boost will kick in faster and the led will only stay on momentarily. the speed boost should never even approach the 750mw+ that the led is using, so i think it will work.
hello, i changed the password for the router, so i cant login from my phone. i still get the error message, "tl-wr841n 192.168.1.1" when i try to edit the configuration, it asks for the password, i dont know what it is though. what can i do? 81555fee3f
